Been using a beloved Texts but was forced to use the Samsung app because I got a Galaxy Watch. Anyone know if I could apply Textra and the watch??
I'm able to get my texts using Textra through my s3 frontier watch. You just have to get into the gear app and turn on notifications for your texting app .

I've used (and love) Textra in the past but at present using Google Messages west/GBoard with the S20+. I think I'll give the stock at effort with the N20 Ultra reading this thread.

This may non exist related but I employ the Google Keyboard and I'm wondering if the auto dark mode has been optimized for the Note 20 Ultra? I had the Note 10+ and the Google Keyboard would automatically switch to dark mode. Does anybody know?

Update the uninformed please! Where is the Annotation twenty series with regards to RCS texting? Does it have it from the go go? I think reading upwardly on RCS about a twelvemonth ago, and information technology was confusing. It sounded like carriers needed to support it, phones needed to support it, it might exist useless if both parties weren't setup to utilize it, etc.

Been using Textra. I've wanted to go back to the stock app because it's gotten better over fourth dimension but in that location's 1 characteristic that keeps me using Textra that the stock app doesn't have. If Samsung were to ever make it to where you tin can assign private people sure notification icons, I'd start using the stock app for sure.
You're in luck. On my Note twenty Ultra you lot can assign individual ringtones in the stock samsung messages.

Been using Textra (full paid version) for a few years now and have no complaints. I think it was merely like $5 for the full version of it. Not really certain if/how it's any kind of real upgrade over the stock messaging app on the Annotation 20 though. Haven't really spent any time messing with the stock app to see what kind of improvements and new features it has.
The main feature i like about TEXTRA is the instant send feature by pressing enter. It's a modest convenience just i similar that feature best. Google messages is great in tracking sending messages but lacks the insta-ship feature.

Has Textra washed a UI re-design lately or are they yet running the same Cloth Design from when I owned my LG G2 or Nexus 4??
I was a huge Textra fan when I had my LG G2... I forgot if I used it as far back as my Nexus 4. Paid version. But I am then over that Fabric Design from back then and those colors. My gosh, even Google has left that behind with Messaging.Good features. But likewise much of an eyesore for me to use.
Tried Google Messaging a couple of times but mainly used Samsungs app on my 8. Will probably stick with stock too. Does all I need.
Those are my get-to now, also. I used to be a huge fan of Textra but now I like Samsung's and Google's versions of SMS.

Now I just found out Samsung messages does accept RCS. It was non available until I downloaded google messages, enabled it, switched dorsum to samsung and it asked me immediately if I wanted to enable it.
